Speech Language Pathologist
Stephanie Mohr
Stephanie Mohr has a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Griffith University in Gold Coast, Australia, and a Master of Fine Arts degree in writing from Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. During her training in Australia Stephanie completed extensive paediatric practicums in a variety of settings including hospitals, community health clinics, private practices, pre-schools and elementary schools. She is particularly passionate about early intervention for young children with Autism and believes in a holistic family centred approach to therapy that focuses on a child's strengths as well as parent education and involvement. She is trained in PROMPT and is Hanen certified. In addition to one-on-one therapy Stephanie is a More Than Words facilitator and also provides training courses focusing on enhancing early language development in childcare centres around the Greater Vancouver Area. Outside of work Stephanie enjoys hiking, running along the seawall, and skiing. She is currently working on her first series of children's books.
